Rates
When you decide to work with a VA, you will gain a partner, not an employee. A partner is someone interested in helping you succeed. An employee will put in the required hours and punch out.
Rates for trained VA’s will be higher than those of an hourly employee. However, your overall costs will probably be lower than costs associated with an employee. You choose how many hours per month you need. You would most likely have to extend set hours to an employee per week, paying for possible down-time.
Ask me – I’ll be glad to share some statistical data with you to show the cost differences.
The nitty gritty…
I have a two-tiered system. It’s best to choose the retainer system – a minimum of 10 hours per month. Being on a retainer means you secure 10 hours of my time each month. If more time is needed, the extra time is billed at the same rate and added to next month’s invoice. Unused time is not carried over.
This retainer system benefits you by setting aside time each month especially for you. Without a retainer in place, there is no guarantee time will be available.
Why a minimum of 10 hours/month?
Working with clients for less than that doesn’t allow enough time to get to know you and your business well enough to establish a working relationship that will truly benefit you.
